Dieser Tawny 10 Years wird aus Portweinen assembliert, deren Alter durchschnittlich zehn Jahre ist. Er reift bis zur Abfüllung in Fässern heran und gehört zu den Spitzenweinen in Porto. Er stammt aus der Quinta do Noval an den Steilufern des Douro und besitzt genau jene rötliche Farbe, der er seinen Namen verdankt. Komplexe Nase, Haselnüsse, Walnüsse, Rosinen, konzentriert und anhaltend. Am Gaumen würzig, pfeffrig, Trockenobst. Sehr lang im Abgang, ein kaum endender wollender Eindruck von Genuss.
